Chaos, Solitons & Fractals (2009), do Three different forms of impulsive T–S models are discussed in this paper; the first one is described by a nonlinear impulsive control system represented by T–S model, while the second one is expressed as a state feedback impulsive control plant and the third one is depicted by a hybrid system. A simple and unified Lyapunov-based stability criterion is proposed to guarantee the exponential stability of closed-loop impulsive fuzzy systems. Such criterion is expressed in the form of linear matrix inequalities and the corresponding design algorithms are presented. Several numerical simulations are shown to demonstrate how the proposed controllers can stabilize these impulsive fuzzy systems. 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

New Approach to Exponential Stability Analysis and Stabilization for Delayed T-S Fuzzy Markovian Jump Systems

This paper is concerned with delay-dependent exponential stability analysis and stabilization for continuous-time T-S fuzzy Markovian jump systems with mode-dependent time-varying delay. By constructing a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and utilizing some advanced techniques, less conservative conditions are presented to guarantee the closed-loop system is mean-square exponentially stable....

Stability Analysis and Design of Time-Varying Nonlinear Systems Based on Impulsive Fuzzy Model

This paper develops a general analysis and design theory for nonlinear time-varying systems represented by impulsive T-S fuzzy control model, which extends conventional T-S fuzzy model. In the proposed, model impulse is viewed as control input of T-S model, and impulsive distance is the major controller to be designed. Several criteria on general stability, asymptotic stability, and exponential...

Stability analysis of nonlinear hybrid delayed systems described by impulsive fuzzy differential equations

In this paper we introduce some stability criteria of nonlinear hybrid systems with time delay described by impulsive hybrid fuzzy system of differential equations. Firstly, a comparison principle for fuzzy differential system based on a notion of upper quasi-monotone nondecreasing is presented. Here, for stability analysis of fuzzy dynamical systems, vector Lyapunov-like functions are defined....

Impulsive stability of chaotic systems represented by T-S model

In this paper, a novel and unified control approach that combines intelligent fuzzy logic methodology with impulsive control is developed for controlling a class of chaotic systems. We first introduce impulses into each subsystem of T-S fuzzy IF-THEN rules and then present a unified T-S impulsive fuzzy model for chaos control. Based on the new model, a simple and unified set of conditions for c...

Fuzzy Lyapunov stability and exponential stability in control ‎systems‎

Fuzzy control systems have had various applications in a wide range of science and engineering in recent years. Since an unstable control system is typically useless and potentially dangerous, stability is the most important requirement for any control system (including fuzzy control system). Conceptually, there are two types of stability for control systems: Lyapunov stability (a special case ...
